Marjorie E. Dexter, 91, of Coldwater passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Grand Vista in Coldwater.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Community of Christ Church in Coldwater with Pastor Brian Hice officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Community of Christ Church in Coldwater. The family is being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.

Marjorie was born February 19, 1924 in Bethel Township to Herbert and Lizzie (Kanouse) Lobdell. She married Jesse J. Dexter on January 12, 1949 in Fremont, Indiana, he preceded her in death on April 6, 2012. Marjorie worked at Pratts Army Cot Factory and then at Quality Springs in Coldwater for 38 years retiring in 1988.
She was a member of Community of Christ Church in Coldwater. Marjorie was a volunteer at Community Health Center of Branch County and for Meals on Wheels. She also enjoyed gardening, playing cards with friends, traveling and baking as she was a great cook.
Marjorie is survived by her children; Stephen (LouEllen) Dexter of South River, NJ , Suzanne (Henry) James of Maryville, TN., Sherry (Sonny) Lonsbury of Coldwater and.; her grandchildren, Kevin Dexter, Timothy Dexter, Casey Dexter and Charles Dosier. In Addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
