Vitalis J. "Junior"  Losinski
Vitalis J. Losinski, Jr., 81, of Bronson, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, August 19, 2016 at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Richard Fritz officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bronson. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.
Junior was born February 8, 1935 in Bronson to Vitalis J. and Mary (Kibiloski) Losinski , Sr. He married Barbara Nutt on September 3, 1955 at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson.
He loved being a farmer as he raised hogs and crops on his 80 acres. He also worked in maintenance at Douglas Autotech in Bronson for over 40 years.
Junior was a member of St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson. He loved his John Deere tractors, going out to eat, car rides, watching sports, watching wildlife, especially birds. Junior loved nothing more than his entire family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Barbara; his daughters; LuAnn (Joseph) Hansen of Vicksburg and Sue Ann (Randy Kruger) Stansbery of Bronson; his sisters, Virginia Herman of Coldwater and Dorothy Smoker of Bronson; his grandchildren, Dawnett (Aaron Mascarenas) Shortridge, Wade (Brandi Ferguson) Shortridge, Kevin (Kathy) Drake and Jackie (Jeff) Drake; his great grandchildren, Winston, Kacie and Leo Ferguson, Dawn (Mark) Wenger and Diane (Chad) Gowan; his great great grandchildren, Devyn, Lance, Hunter and Bradley Wenger and Zack and Taylor Gowan. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Bernard and Raymond Losinski and his sister, Edna Dale.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary‘s School or Borgess Heart Center for Excellence in Kalamazoo.
