Condolences

Condolence From: Bill Welch
Condolence: Wow, it’s been years since I have seen Barney. Myself, I retired from the Federal Center in Battle Creek in 2005, but I don’t know when Barney retired from there. We both had worked there for years. He was always a real nice guy. We were Vietnam brothers-in-arms. He in the Army and me a Marine. About a week before his passing, I had been thinking about him. I was trying to remember where he lived in Union City, but I couldn’t remember. (at least, I think he used to live in Union City). So, I was really shocked to see his obituary just a few days later. Wow, where have all the years gone!

RIP my friend. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
P.S. I apologize for my late condolences, but I have been dealing with some health issues.

Condolence: So sad for Barney and his family and friends. I was in the Vietnam Vets Chapter 730, Coldwater, Mi. for several years. he was out current president and had worked very hard for our veterans and our chapter. we were worried about his health for a long time. Barney was so knowledgeable about the bills in congress, the things going on in the VA and many areas of concern for out veterans, particularly for our Vietnam Vets. He will be greatly missed. lynn dunn, associate for 20 years.

Condolence: Another brother is down, but now out. The Lord is looking after those who already served their hellish time in Nam. We must always remember. Our brother is not down but is living in a good place. Our ranks aren't getting thin here, but are growing in a more wondrous place.

Condolence: Barney and I worked for many years together at the Federal Center. We would talk about his house and we shared designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. He shared his views on many things, and he loved the simple life I believe. He will be missed. Prayers and God's strength to his family.
