Richard “Dick” Shaw, 80, of Coldwater, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
No services will be held at this time, interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Richard was born May 21, 1936 in Coldwater to Charles & Mildred (Whitaker) Shaw. He served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1956 – 1958. Dick married Constance “Connie” L. Soule in 1958, she preceded him in death on March 18, 2002.
Mr. Shaw was an owner/operator driving truck for 25+ years. He was a former member of the Coldwater Elks and enjoyed fishing.
Dick is survived by his children Kenneth (Tamara) Shaw of Los Angeles, CA, Keith (Debra) Shaw of Coldwater, Karen (Stephen) Ascher of Glen Ellyn, IL, his grandchildren Mackenzie, Tatum, Piper Shaw, Brittany, Nicholas Shaw, Curtis and Christine Ascher.
