William “Bill” George Moffett, 71 of Quincy passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Laurels of Coldwater.

The family will have a gathering of family and friends at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Coldwater. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.

William was born December 27, 1945 to William M. and Zelda J. (Scriber) Moffett in Coldwater. Bill married the love of his life, Sharon Fickle on October 29, 1966 in Coldwater. He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1965 and was a lifelong resident of Coldwater. He worked at Acorn Window Systems for 29 years and at Crotty for 5 years before retiring.

Bill enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. He was an avid fisherman, and loved playing cards. He also liked working on cars and tinkering with landscaping his yard.

Mr. Moffett is survived by his wife of 50 years Sharon Moffett; his daughters Buffy (Randy) Stevens of Camden, Tonya (Colby) Eaton of Montgomery, and Sonya Beem of Bronson; his sister Linda Jones of Bellevue; his grandchildren Michael Paradine, Bryant (Stephanie) Paradine, Alex Stevens, Megan Neill, Patrick Stevens, and Kelly Kurtz; four great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
