Floyd L. Hurlburt
Floyd Lewis Hurlburt, Sr., 86 of Coldwater passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at his home while surrounded by family.

A memorial service for Floyd and Wanda Hurlburt will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. The family was cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.

Floyd was born April 5, 1930 to Lester and Vesta (Sparks) Hurlburt in Fulton, IN. He spent 20 years proudly serving his county in the U.S. Army. On June 21, 1958 he married the love of his life, Wanda Bliss. After leaving the Army they moved to Coldwater where he worked for Essex Manufacturing and then moved on the RB&W (now MPC) taking on many positions within the manufacturing side of the company.

Floyd enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping with his family, fishing and doing yard work. He and Wanda enjoyed traveling, making many trips to visit family. Floyd also liked sitting in a lawn chair keeping track of the comings and goings of the neighborhood with short visits with those that walked past or neighbors out working in their yards. His true joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by many.
