Obituary for Julia H. Riddle

Julia H.  Riddle
Julia Helen Riddle, 79, of Bronson passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital after a short illness.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Mark Case of California Community Church officiating. Visitation will be Friday, June 9, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. In following Julia’s wishes, cremation will take place after the service.

Julia was born September 30, 1937 to Julius and Anna (Mazaitus) Czuberki in Bronson, MI. She attended Western Michigan University and then completed her Master’s Degree in History at the University of Michigan. Julia taught 7 & 8 grade at St. Mary’s Assumption School for many years. Later she worked at the State Home in Coldwater, retiring upon the closing of the home. On June 1, 1962, she married the love of her life, Arnold C. Riddle.

Julia had many interests. She was an avid reader and liked keeping her mind sharp doing crossword puzzles. Julia had a great memory and retained lots of information from her reading and life experiences. She enjoyed listening to a very broad range of music. Her true joy in life was spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Julia will be remembered as a caring, generous, and loving woman who will be missed by many.

In addition to her husband , Mrs. Riddle is survived by her children Julianna Riddle of Orangevale, CA, A.J. Riddle of Bronson, and Christine Aguilar of Jackson; her son-in-law Ken Bradshaw of Santa Barbara, CA; her brother Joe Czuberki of San Francisco, CA; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Dominique, Ignacio, Whitney, Jorden, Travis, Adam, Justin, and Eric. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Debbie Bradshaw; and her son-in-law Raul Aguilar.
