Dear family, I was so sorry to learn of the loss of your sweet mother. You were so blessed to have her in your lives for so many years. Your family home was the hub of the neighborhood and she welcomed us in as her own kids. I never remember being told "not today" when asked if you all could play. And, usually, there were homemade cookies for us as well. Or if I was REALLY lucky, popcorn to shell. She made your home a 'safe place' where all were welcome.
