Obituary for Linda R. House

Linda R.  House
Linda Ruth House, 80, of Saginaw and formerly of Bronson, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw.

A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 27, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Richard Sayad of Linda's home church, Saginaw Valley Community Church officiating. In following Linda’s wishes, cremation will follow the service and interment at Riverside Cemetery in Clinton, MI will occur at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Dutcher Funeral Home.

Linda was born July 10, 1937; adopted at the age of ten by Charles and Maxine (Cullen) Denton in Jackson. She married the love of her life, Harold House on June 20, 1959 in Brooklyn. They moved to the Bronson area, where Linda worked as a dietary aide at the Community Health Center of Branch County for 30 plus years, retiring in 2000.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards with friends, baking for the holidays and cooking.

Mrs. House is survived by her daughters Sarah (Charlie) Riddle of Quincy and Melissa Rickett of Coldwater; her son James (Clara) House of Saginaw; her brother Gary (Jane) Baggott of Stillwater, Minnesota; her grandchildren Joyce Adams, Jimmy Adams, Julia Toman, Corey Henderson, Charles Henderson III, Russell Henderson, Allen House, Shadow Johns, Felicity Hoyt,Shyla Riddle, Amanda Rickett, Joshua Rickett, Carissa House, Melinda House, Heather House; 24 great grandchildren and with special mention, the day Linda entered Heaven, her third great, great-granddaughter, Laurin Marguerite Delle entered the world.

Linda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold House and two daughters, Dawn Adams and Laurie Henderson.
