Obituary for Juan E. Rentas

Juan E. Rentas, 73, of Lincoln Park, formerly of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital.
The funeral will be Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Mark Case officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Juan was born January 26, 1944 in Puerto Rico to Manuel & Maria (Rodriguez) Rentas.
Mr. Rentas worked at Midwest Foundry from 1975 until the plant closed. He then worked for Alchem Aluminum for several years. He spent many years in the Coldwater area, relocating to Lincoln Park where he has lived for the past 15 years.
Juan is survived by his son Juan Rentas, Jr. of NY, step-son Ray (Tracy) Fry of Coldwater, sons-in-law John Blanchard of Coldwater and Tom Santella of Lincoln Park, his grandchildren Michael Blanchard, John Blanchard, Jr., Jennifer Blanchard, Christian Blanchard, Matthew Fry, Brandon Fry, Tina Keppler and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his longtime companion Hilda Fry, step daughters Roberta Santella, Betty Jo (Peter) Keppler, Diane Blanchard, step son David Fry and granddaughter Tammy Blanchard.
