Jerald F. "Jerry"  Lewis
Jerald Fayette Lewis, 66 of Coldwater passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at his home after a short illness.

A funeral will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Anderson of Coach Eby Family and Youth Center and Rev. Dr. Rene` Whitaker of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Girard. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Dutcher Funeral Home from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.

Jerald was born January 20, 1950 to John and Vera (Harper) Lewis in Coldwater. After graduation from high school, he began a long working career. He spent many years with Voltek in the shipping department and then as a laminator before retiring. Jerry was a man of faith and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Jerry had many hobbies, but enjoyed fishing, RC racing, motocross, bowling, and rafting the most. He had a soft spot for all animals and had many pets during his life. Jerry was a funny and outspoken man and took the name “Jerry Lewis” to heart. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife Julie Lewis of Coldwater; his sons David (Randi) Lewis of Three Rivers, Dan Lewis of Coldwater, and Gordon (Whittney) Lewis of Grants Pass, OR; his brother James (Paula) Lewis of Coldwater; his sister-in-law Pat Lewis of Coldwater; his grandchildren Brittney, Christopher, Ezra, Melaini, and Kendyl Lewis, Madison Bulgin, and Aurora Lewis; his great grandchildren Emerald Lewis and Silas Stillwell; several nieces & nephews; many good friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; his daughter Melanie Lewis; and his brother John Lewis.
