Dorothy A. Wallo, 78, of Coldwater, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 19, 2016 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Rev. Dennis Little officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bronson. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
Dorothy was born June 11, 1938 to Ervin and Lucille (Stokes) Boothe in Quincy. She married James Wallo on April 7, 1990 in Coldwater, he preceded her in death on January 18, 2002. Dorothy worked at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility for many years as a nurse aide, retiring in 1989.
Dorothy enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and going to garage sales. She especially loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Jeri (Tom) Torrey of Jonesville, Robert (Dana) Hagaman of Ypsilanti, Penny (Pablo) Trujillo of Adrian and Tim (Debbie) Hagaman of Quincy, her 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; her brothers, Donald Boothe of Jackson, Richard (Ellen) Boothe of Wyoming, Edwin Boothe of Reading; and her sister Lena Embry of Kissimmee, FL.
In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister in law Louise Boothe
