Stella D.  Peet
Stella Delores (Galinis) Peet, 85 of Coldwater passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at her home.

A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm, Monday, January 29, 2018 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor David Szymczak of New Beginnings Ministries officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service Monday beginning at 11:00 am.

Stella was born March 13, 1932 to Peter and Nellie (Yermala) Galinis in Detroit

Stella lived most of her life in Branch County. She was a homemaker for many years. Stella enjoyed crafts, cooking, traveling, and a good garage sale.

Stella married Charles L. Peet, Sr. on February 5, 1950 in Angola. They shared 60 years together until his death on September 6, 2010. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. Peet is survived by her children; Larry (Mary Ellen) Peet of Coldwater, Ronald ( Lucille) Peet of Glendale, AZ, Delores (Bob) King of Tekonsha, Charles (Sandra Dee) Peet, Jr. of Montgomery, Dennis (Sharon) Peet of Coldwater, David (Karen) Peet of Quincy and Steven (Trish) Peet of Tekonsha, 26 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; her brothers Gerald (Judy) Galinis and Richard (Karen) Galinis all of Coldwater; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Annie Church; her brothers Peter, Jr., Albert, & Victor Galinis; and her granddaughter Erica Ann King.
