Obituary for Delores S. Linton

Delores S. Linton, 85, of Coldwater, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church with Rev. Fr. Paul Redmond officiating. Interment will follow at Lester Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4-8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater and again on Thursday, prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Church.
Delores was born June 10, 1932 in Romulus, MI to Joseph & Helen (Koper) Stempien. She married Robert J. Linton on January 12, 1957 in Coldwater, he preceded her in death on September 3, 1998.
Mrs. Linton owned and operated Dee’s Stop -N- Shop in Coldwater for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and had formerly belonged to the Red Hat Society. Dee was a dedicated wife and mother, she enjoyed sewing and quilting and treasured most the time she spent with her family.
Delores is survived by her children Robert Craig (Linda) Linton of Bronson, Ragen (Rob) Shook of Cadillac, Randall Linton of Coldwater, her siblings Anthony (Carolyn) Stempien of Quincy, Charles Stempien, Robert (Carol) Stempien, William (Linda) Stempien all of Coldwater, David (Paulette) Stempien of Quincy, Pat Crow of Las Vegas, her grandchildren Robin Fisher, Robert Craig Linton, Rachel Cutler, Rhett Shook, Rilea Shook, Randall Linton, Haley Linton, her great grandchildren Julia Fisher, Guilianna Cutler, Otto Cutler, Coraline Shook, Adelyn Shook, Harper Warchol, Cameron Linton and Alexa Linton. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Richard, Leonard, Joseph and Ronald Stempien.
